On Monday or Wednesday, you will give your
presentation to the class. Be prepared on Monday.
Make sure you:
- Have used at least two
reliable sources
- Have a good, clear
introduction to the project explaining your title and what you
studied
- Clearly explain the
relationship between language, identity and this
project
- Have professional-looking
visual aids with perfect English and spelling and use the visual
aids in your presentation; include a visual aid with your
title
- Look at the
listeners
- Do not read your
presentation; speak naturally in phrases and not too fast or
slow
- Teach any words the listeners
don't know and write them on a visual aid
- Present your ideas in a
logical order. Include only relevant details, not all the
details you have.
- Answer the questions "who?",
"what?", "when?", "where?", "why?" and "how?"
- Have a conclusion that
summarizes the main points
- Ask at the end, "Do you have
any questions?"
- Pronounce every word
correctly; use English word and sentence stress
- Use correct
grammar
- Stand up straight and look
confident
