Language/Culture Partner Assignment
Due March 8, 2002

• You will meet with your Willamette partner three times during the semester outside of class timer. The other assignment are due April 5 and 26.
• The leader is responsible for setting up a time to meet your partner. Don't wait. Do it now.
• The Willamette class your Willamette partner is taking, " Japanese Language and Culture", is in English. Speak English when you meet unless you need help understanding something and your partner can help in Japanese.
• Meet for at least one hour for each assignment. Spend half an hour discussing topics the Willamette students bring, and the other half hour discussing topics you bring.
• The first time you meet, spend time getting to know each other. As about hometown, family, major, hobbies, etc.
• Before you meet, choose one or two topics from the list I gave you. Add any of your own questions. Be prepared as a group and as individuals before you meet you partner.
