On Friday, February 22, students from Sheridan High School will visit. Sheridan High School has a very strong Japanese language program. We will have lunch with about 21 students, and then the 7 most advanced Japanese learners will come to our class. Both morning and afternoon classes will meet together.

To prepare, please write 12 interesting questions for the students.

• Don't be too general; general questions aren't so interesting.
• Don't ask questions that can be answered with "yes", "no" or one word. Instead, ask questions that begin a discussion.
  • Good example: What subjects are you studying in school, which is your favorite, and why?
  • Bad example: Do you like school? (Too general and can be answered with one word.)

Check your grammar and spelling. Ask a tutor or a native speaker for help. Practice asking the questions.
