Visit from Sheridan High School Students on Friday, February 22, 2002

Why:

A chance for you to practice listening and speaking and to learn about American culture
A chance for Sheridan students to learn about Willamette and TIUA and to practice Japanese and learn about Japanese culture

How:

Lunch: Be sure to spread out among tables on one end of the dining room, so there are an equal number of TIUA students at each table. At least one Sheridan student in 4th-year Japanese will be at each table.
- TIUA will pay for the lunch for TIUA students if you eat what is provided, but you must get and pay for your own drink. (Sheridan students will get lunch and one "fountain" drink or milk)
Room 116: From 12:45 to 1:45, we will do activities in Japanese and English

9:10-10:15	Professor Seibert's advisees in 116 and Professor Tabet's advisees in 118
10:15-10:25	Break
10:25-11:30	Professor Tabet's advisees in 118 and Professor Seibert's advisees in 116
11:35	Be in the dining room and sitting in equal numbers at the reserved tables
11:40-12:30	Lunch with Sheridan High School students (at 12:15 the Sheridan students who are NOT 4th-year Japanese students will leave to observe Willamette classes)
12:45-1:45	Activities and conversation in English and Japanese in room 116
2:00	Classes end for the the day for the TIUA students in our two sections
