Next Thursday afternoon, March 20, from 1:15 to 3:15 we (all 28 students) from Professor Seibert's speaking and listing classes will host about 50 members of the Willamette Institute for Continued Learning (ICL).

Participants in the ICL are retired people who like to learn. They come to campus four hours each week for lectures and special programs.

The purpose of the activity for you is to practice what you learn in class.


The schedule for Thursday is this:

1:15 to 1:45 Everyone in the auditorium for information about TIUA

1:45 to 2:15 Discussion in small groups in the dining room

2:15 to 2:45 We will teach about Japanese (or Korean) culture in small groups

2:45 to 3:15 We will teach Japanese (or Korean) culture in small groups


You need to decide what you will teach. Please list 3 possibilities here. Number 1 is your first choice. You will teach for about 10 minutes and then help the ICL members learn how to do what you just taught.
