Mt. Angel is the English translation of the town from which the founders of Mt. Angel Abbey came: Engelberg ("Angel Mountain"). Located in central Switzerland, the small town of Engelberg is in a valley surrounded by high snow-covered mountains. A 700-year-old abbey is located there.
