Course information

  • Activities and assignments in this class will be related to your Linguistics course
  • Purposes of Applied English:
    • To help you with the English you need to succeed in Linguistics
    • To improve your general English skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing
  • This English course is not designed to be "tutoring" for your elective course.
    • If you have questions about the content or assignments in Linguistics, please contact Professor Fujiwara. There is also a class tutor for Linguistics: Molly Molvik.
    • I am not Professor Fujiwara's secretary :)
  • In Applied English class, we will:
    • Learn and practice English that you need in order to understand lectures, to read the text, to write test answers, and to participate in Linguistics class.
