When you meet with your Willamette conversation partner,
you will spend some time speaking only in Japanese in order to help
the Willamette student complete her or his assignment.
After you have finished your conversation in Japanese, you will do the following activity in English. Make sure you do all parts of this assignment. This assignment is due on Monday, April 2, 2001.
NOTE: It is not required, but you might want to tape record the conversation so you can listen to it later. Make sure you ask your conversation partner if this is okay with them.
Part 1 - Interview -

3. What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of living in a large city in the U.S.? (Also express your own ideas on this question related to Japan)
4. Tell me about one of the most interesting travel experiences you have had? (Also talk about some of your own travel experiences. Practice using the past tense.)
5. Tell me about your Spring Break. (Also talk about your Spring Break experiences).
